Brad Roemer Real Estate Discusses the Best Dungeons and Dragons Classes

Introduction

Just before the New Year, Brad Roemer Real Estate decided they wanted to get a Dungeons and Dragons group together. They found five people that wanted to participate, and they shared the cost of a starter kit. One night after work, they gathered in the conference room and played for a few hours. When they met again, a lot of the players were talking about different classes. As they had a member of the group that had already played, they were able to discuss the best classes in the game.

Best Classes

Now, this list is from the perspective of a single person and does not mean that if you play another class that you will be at any disadvantage. The ranking is more about how easy each class will be to play for a beginning player. Additionally, it shows how much you can do with that class and how much fun you can have. Again, this is not to say that other classes are not fun, it pretty much depends on what role you want to play.

  1. Ranger – If you are looking for a class that has many different options on what they can do and how they can play, this is the class for you. They not only can wield a longbow and a short bow, but they can also wield martial weapons (knives, daggers, etc.) and even have decent abilities with swords. They do the best with bows, but this doesn’t mean you cannot play the style in which you wish to play. They have a decent armor class and have stats that are increased by the weapon in which you choose to use. This is a great all-around class.
  2. Paladin – So, you want to heal, but you also want to get in on the fight. Then you needn’t look further than the paladin. They are a healer that can do loads of DPS to a monster. If we had to advise a new player on which class to take, we would probably recommend this one. It will give them the opportunity to get up close and personal in the fight, but also have the ability to stay in the fight and help others.
  3. Cleric – If you do not want to do any of the up close and personal stuff and just sit back and heal up your party members, then this is by far the best class for you. They wear heavy armor because generally, mobs will try to target them to kill off the healer. This is standard practice in most games. They only survive by having heavy armor and being one of the strongest healing classes in the game.
  4. Sorcerer – If you want to have the most damage in the game while wearing toilet paper for armor, then this is your class. You can sit back and drop massive amounts of damage, but don’t get hit or it could be the last thing you do.

Conclusion

This is the list of the best classes that Brad Roemer Real Estate can suggest to a group that is considering starting to play for the first time. Add a dungeon master and you are ready to go.
